First, I don't know if this is in the right topic, it could also probably come under hardware and drivers.

So, recently I purchased a new SATA hard drive. Installed, formatted etc. Only I want to fully replace my old IDE hard drive. I have tried restoring from backup, changing boot drive. Even putting drivers into XP boot disk (I think). But now I've given up.
What would be really good is being able to run windows from my backup, it'll just save me time re-instslalling programs and stuff.
But if not clean installation of XP is fine.
Here is some information of my system:
    Motherboard Name Gigabyte GA-8S661FXM-775
    Motherboard Chipset SiS661FX
    Drive #1 - ST320014A (18 GB) (IDE)
    Drive #2 - MAXTOR STM3500320AS (465 GB) (New SATA)
OS - Windows XP Professional SP3
If any more information is needed just post.

Any suggestions help, so does making it simple :)
    Thanks
