Interesting Thing I Did To Night For My Apu Windows 7

I was looking for a way to unlock all of my cores in my amd apu system.

I came across some thing very interesting about all of your cores that are not being utilized by windows.If you have a combo system that has say.Four,Six or Eight cores with just as many threads.All of them threads and cores are not being utilized any more for the most part.

In some games that require it.This could be the cause of the lag issue that some people get.

I was doing a search on this subject be cause i was adjusting things in the registry just for kicks and surfing the web at the same time.Since most laptops are blocked from using advance options in bios.I was looking for away to increase my speed.Now this is not really overclocking.It's just unlocked the full cpu which can help on many cases.

Now most CPU's are parked as normal settings be for people start messing with adjustments in bios to overclock.

I found a key that is set in windows 10 and windows 7 both keys should be the same to search for.

If you want to get right into this.

Usually core parking increasing performance so an application is handled by the same core preferably, instead of being shifted around constantly from core to core.Make sure you have good air flow and cooling to compensate just in case your cpu get's hot for unknown reason's.

Do this at your own risk.Just trying to help others that have some lag problems be cause of Microsoft mess up.

Go to your start menu

1. In the search option type -->> regedit this should pop up in a new windows called Registry editor.Or you can press Windows key and R at the same time for the run command prompt.And Type regedit in there.Some times that is easier for some people.
2. While you are in regedit.Left click on Edit than go down to find or a short cut is crtl + f.
3. When you are in the find option.You will see an option for Look at be low a search bar.Un-check the Values and Data.And Keep Key's checked.By default these will all be checked.
4. Once that is done in the search bar you can copy and past this string or type it.Normally it's easier to copy and past saves time-->>0cc5b647-c1df-4637-891a-dec35c318583

Now once you have done that on the right hand side of the regedit you should see these settings below.

Attributes
Description
FriendlyName
ValueIncrement
ValueMax
ValueMin
ValueUnits

The only one you will need to mess with is ValueMax and ValueMin you should see a data number on there some thing like 0x00000000 and a (number here) this number is most likely going to be 64 could be different.Depends on your windows.

What i want you to do it left double click on this name first ValueMax a secondary windows will popup .Do not mess with Base Leave it Hexadecimal settings.In the Value data settings replace the current number to zero Than press ok.Make sure you do the same thing for ValueMin replace the current number to zero.

Do not mess with any other settings just ValueMax and ValueMin nothing else.



Ok after that is done press ok and reboot system.

This should work for both windows 7,8,8.1 and windows 10.
