Internal Error 2343

tried registry cleaner for thirty dollars, still have error 2343 and can't get support to answer any questions, their ad said error repaired in a few seconds, NOT! tried every thing then decided to get help, well, they were more than happy to take my money, but, support don't exist

 

What is giving you this error? I mean, does it come up when you run a certain program? Did it start after installing/uninstalling something? Just a bit more info please, like your version of Windows too....

Operating system XP pro replaced C drive because it was starting to squeak it was a 80 that was 6 years old added 320 int. maxtor 3 months ago transfered all files and changed it from D to C removed old squeaky and system was fine until 01/05/08 at 7 pm when it crashed i reinstalled xp on to my new D drive and made that C it also killed my video card, which was to small any way a GeForce FX5200 no warning just black screen _ on it. i have no reason why i ! i put 320 maxtor back in as D and it works fine?????? Software failure? Video card failure? (i run two usb drives as back up anyway.) but, still don't know what happened! i know that i will back things up better than i was........

 

every boot up it said internal error 2343 prelude to crash?

 

Just to be clear here:

- you had a working Windows installation on the D: drive
- you changed the D: drive to C:
- Everything broke

Is that correct?

 

Yes system was working fine, replaced c drive everything still was where it was supposed to be and everything worked normally no temperature changes anywhere . all systems normal. then .............

 

Also disabled printer an hp psc2110 no longer recognized by either of my machines. (even my laptop) new printer works great.

 

Bad idea to change the drive letter that Windows is sitting on. Reckon that was the source of your problems.

There's no easy way to change it, short of formatting, repartitioning, and reinstalling.

You need to make sure the drive letter that Windows is getting installed on is correct BEFORE going through the install.

Re-reading the thread however, we're actually trying to fix the 2343 error? And it's coming up every boot, and you do not know what is giving you the error?

Could you perhaps post a screenshot of the error?

 

Replaced C drive with new drive transferred all files then changed new drive to C then system worked for several weeks before failure

 

Screen shot? system crashed ! error gone now, took printer, video card, and most information off new C drive, i know how to replace a C drive! besides it worked for almost two months before failure.

 

Thought you had agreed to my earlier summation of your case?!?

i wrote the first post before the CRASH the error is gone, but, vid card, and printer also are gone! are the three connected? did video card cause crash? did printer cause crash? where did all the stuff i had on C drive go? why does drive now D still work? what happened? Was internal error 2343 a warning before the crash? System is up and working again. But what caused this? any ideas? i did partition, and reformat the new C drive when i changed it never had this happen before. after all that was 2 months ago if it was bad why would i wait 2 months?
