Internet Account Access Issues

A couple of weeks ago I had a virus on my computer. I ran some antivirus programs which identified a Trojan virus that it removed but I think it may have removed some necessary system files that are hindering my internet capabilities. I can no longer perform internet banking for two different banks. I am unable to make purchases online through any website. I can browse but am limited where accounts are necessary. I don't believe there is a problem with the browser as I have used three different ones. I have addressed internet options/settings and firewalls to allow access to the sites in question but with no luck. I am new to all of this and not very knowledgable about this stuff. Is there anyone with any ideas? Please advise. Thanks much.

http://www.majorgeeks.com/images/grenade.gif Very Important: Make sure you tell us the results from running the tutorial...was anything found? Were you unable to complete any of the scans?...Were you unable to download any of the tools?...Did you do the on-line scans as suggested? etc.
