My internet connection has been acting funny. For the last few days it has been kicking me off the internet for no apparent reason (microwave is not running either!). I also will get kicked off the Wii. Let me tell you that I have my laptop, DVR, and Wii all on the same wireless router at my desktop. Everything always worked fine until I got a new computer with Vista. I also recently installed a wireless surround speaker system on my TV, but the problems still occur when it is turned off. For a long time now I have had an exclamation point on the internet activity animation icon (2 computers) on the right of my taskbar and I am getting "limited access" for my wireless connection. The internet had been working fine regardless of this until recently. I also recieve error messages occasionally such as "Host process for Windows services stopped working and was closed." I have run the malware removal procedure and so far my internet is working without problems (except the exclamation point) so hopefully that fixed it, but I will give it more time before I get too excited. Could you please look at my logs and make sure I have removed all problems. Also, does anyone know how to stop Windows narrator from loading at startup? I turned it on from the sign on screen just to check it out. I have it turned off from the sign on screen now, but it keeps loading on startup for some reason. Thanks.

Your logs are clean. You logs do not show narrator to be loading. If it continues to load, you should post about it in the Software Forum.

You're welcome. You should do the below now.

If you are not having any other malware problems, it is time to do our final steps:
    1. You can uninstall SUPERAntiSpyware now.
    2. We recommed you keep Malwarebytes Anti-Malware as a scanner. It uses no resources except a little disk space until you run a scan.
    3. If we had you use ComboFix, uninstall ComboFix (This uninstall will only work as written if you installed ComboFix on your Desktop & renamed it like we requested.)
      • Click START then RUN and enter the below into the run box and then click OK. Note the quotes are required
      • "%userprofile%\Desktop\cf" /u
        • Notes: The space between the cf" and the /u, it must be there.
        • This will uninstall ComboFix and also reset hidden files and folders settings back to Windows defaults.
      • Delete the C:\cf folder from combofix.
    4. If running Vista, it is time to make sure you have reenabled UAC by double clicking on the C:\MGtools\enableUAC.reg file and allowing it to be added to the registry.
    5. Go to add/remove programs and uninstall HijackThis.
    6. You can delete the C:\MGtools folder and the C:\MGtools.exe file. You can also delete the C:\MGlogs.zip
    7. If you are running Vista, Windows XP or Windows ME, do the below:
      • Refer to the cleaning steps in the READ ME for your Window version and see the steps to Disable System Restore which will flush your Restore Points.
      • Then reboot and Enable System Restore to create a new clean Restore Point.
    8. After doing the above, you should work thru the below link:

By the way I fixed my internet connection problems. I installed Vista SP1 and my computer no longer tells me I have "limited connectivity" and I haven't gotten any errors either.

I'm happy to hear you got all your issues fixed. Especially since there was no malware. ;)
