I got a question I never truly understood. I just had a bad storm come by. I was doing something online. All sudden it lost connection for whatever reasons. This hasn't happen for yrs. Anyways I couldn't get it to work or start back up. So I finally right clicked it - then clicked "repair" which says it had no issues connecting but if I couldn't connect to click repair. So I did.. and it say blah blah cleaning this and that, resetting it and now it works. Now my questions are is it the same IP? Did I do something wrong? Can this harm my computer? I remember I repaired before on a computer and it had issues that I had to call the company and they had to come fix. Also they said that it connected to something not good(like it really was connectly slower then usual to there place) so can this be true and that by repairing it can make it slower connection if something went wrong?

I did get those deleted with no programs. And I installed the proper ones from the site. Thank you.
