Internet Download Manager Problem

I'm running IDM 6.41 on a Windows 10 machine. The program works fine....until the download panel fills up. It goes to #25 which gives me the opportunity to download 3 videos (there are 7 quality choices for each download). After the downloads complete the panel doesn't empty and I can't download anymore. If I try to use #7 again for instance, I get a pop up saying the program is/has downloaded that video. If the download has finished, it will duplicate the original video download.

I know where the download data is stored and I can delete all downloads in the program itself and in the folder where the download data is stored but that's a real pita and a waste of time.

I don't remember this problem on previous versions. I don't want to use an older version since I ran into a "IDM can't download this type of file"....for pdf files for example.

Does anyone know how to get the download panel to empty automatically?
