    Hi all.
    I have a Thomson router.
    A laptop with wireless card.
    A desktop with D-Link DWL g132 adapter.
The laptop has no problems with connection or drop outs.
The desktop will connect for 5 seconds or so, then drop out, i re connect, same thing.
All settings are the same in the desktop as they are in the laptop apart from the ip address of course.
The desktop has had one of these adapters for many months, never had a problem. I sat on it and had to get a new one. :-o
    Same model etc.
I have since had to format the drive as i was having loads of grief installing/uninstalling drivers.
Now i am getting this drop out problem.
    Any clues??
    Cheers.

    Me again.
    I am now sorted.
Problem was, desktop not supporting the same level of security as the laptop and i had selected too high a level for the desktop.
As soon as i selected WPA and not WPA2 all was fine.
