I installed PC Tools Anti Virus on my wife's new laptop Windows 7. It has not worked right since installed about a month or so ago prompting many error messages. Yesterday I decide to uninstall it which I did. Immediately thereafter, IE, Version 8, would not provide web access. While I'm not sure that the uninstall caused this, I been told by ATT support that it may have. Since then I've done a system restore and all is okay again. However, I would like to again uninstall PC Tools but I don't want to go thru this IE program again. Any help would be appreciated.

Most antyvirus progams have an uninstaller that should avoid this- Norton has one, and I have used that before, and some others- I will come back to you on the uninstaller.
