Internet Explorer 1.0.0.0

Hi,

I am having problems with my browser. I think it may be due to a hijacker, but I have use Xoftspy, Kill and Destroy, Adware, etc to get rid of the problem. When I boot up and launch the internet explorer, it tries to go to 1.0.0.0. Other times, it allows me to go to websites like yahoo on first launch, but after a while it sets to 1.0.0.0. I have to click multiple addresses to get it to go to a website. Is there a program which will detect and destroy the hijacker or will I have to completely reformat my harddrive?
