internet explorer ad.banner popups

    I use mozilla but have internet explorer on my comp. can't get rid of it.
    with my comp just sitting there with me not running anything these random ads pop up on my desktop. Labeled as IE ad.banner.
    How do I stop them?

    Welcome to Majorgeeks!

    To get a good look at what could be causing these popups, please follow the below steps and attach the logs requested to you next post in this thread of yours.

    Even if you don't use IE its always wise to keep it upto date if you have not, it saves some malwares exploiting it, and the mawlare doesnt have to have originated via IE.


    Please follow the instructions in the below link and attach the requested logs when you finish these instructions.
