Internet Explorer and Firefox going crazy

    When i visit a site, for example espn.com with either IE or FF(firefox), the little loading bar at the bottom starts goin crazy and keeps flashing like its loading other things and it slows down my pc. I ran all kinds of scans and they didnt find anything.
