Internet Explorer Original Window Disappears

    I am running Windows XP Professional. Just today when I had IE open and then clicked a link within the browser, the new link would launch another instance of the browser and the orignal browser then disappears. This never happened before today and is causing me to relaunch the browser to the original website. What can I do to keep this from happening?

    It is possible that the website that you are refering to has some javascript code behind it that makes it do this. Post the link to the website and say where on the page the link is.

    I'll have a look and see what the problem is.

    When I uncheck under Internet Options advanced Enable 3rd Party Browser Extensions the problem stops but none of my tools work. How can I reinstall IE so that all the 3rd Party Extensions are cleaned up?
