Internet Explorer problems - No Active X and can't download it

    I've been trying to remove spyware using the methods suggested but suddenly when trying to use Online Scanners I'm unable to access these pages fully.

    I've tried to download the Active X from Microsoft but get stuck on the page which says 'Checking for Active X'.

    Can anyone help? I've run Ad-aware, CC Cleaner, Spybot and Microsoft Anti-Spyware so far.

    IF you are unable to run ActiveX then skip the online scans and continue with the rest of the tutorial and post a HijackThis log as an ATTACHMENT when you are finished.
