Internet Explorer problems

    Internet explorer has had trouble ever since upgrading to Windows XP Professional from home version.

    It freezes when I use the address bar. When I try to go to a page or linc from the origial web page multiple pages open up. Up to 60 pages. all blank.

    I'm not computer savvy so I need help. Please give advise

    First, welcome to Major Geeks :major
    Second, I don't think that's an Internet Explorer problem, or a Windows problem. Usually when Internet Explorer goes nuts and just starts opening pages one after the other, it's due to a virus or malware. Check this link: http://forums.majorgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=35407
