Internet Explorer Problems

alright hope you guys can help. so here's my problem, you know how on xp, you can have multiple users on the same computer? well on this one we have three, mine, my dad's, and my sister's. the internet works fine on both mine and my dad's. however, on my sister's, when ever we connect to the internet (we still got dialup ) internet explorer pops up as usual but it can't access any site. it says something like "finding site localuser" on the bottom left, when its trying to go on to the start up page (google). we get the same thing when we try to access any other site. any advice?

check the home page for that user and see if it is what you think it is( it might have been changed)
try logging off all useres except the one giving you problems, reset the websettings and restart the computer, log in only that user and see if anything changes
