Internet Explorer Screen Flashes

I had IE Flashes on almost all web page graphics (certain graphics actually) and anytime I moved my cursor across "links" the whole page flashed. Looked like a refreshing issue at first. I did a web search and found that several others were posting to majorgeeks with same problem and finding no help. I am not a major geek but just started looking at options and found this solution: Go to IE Tools, then Internet Options, then Colors, and UNCHECK the "Use Windows Colors" box.

This fixed my problem--No more flashing. I don't know why it fixed it or even if I will have problem for doing this change but so far NOTHING ELSE seems to be negatively affected. Colors all look the same but no IE SCREEN FLASHES. Good Luck with your solutions. Sidcerely
