I keep getting IE script errors when accessing various sites. Message has a triangle with an exclamation point inside it. "An error has occurred in the script on this page. Line nn
Char nn Error Object expected. Code 0 URL (various ones).

Do you want to continue running scripts on this page? Y/N?"

Sometimes answering Yes will allow me to continue, sometimes not.

I am running AOL v7 which uses IE as a shell. I am not deliberately running IE as a separate program. I have nearly always used AOL as the shell over IE and wish to continue doing so, rather than bootup IE separately.

    IE version is 6.0.2800.11061C with SP1, Q328389, Q834707 and Q833989 installed.

Useless bloody M$ won't let me cut and paste the above info from the Help, About info, so have typed it. Bazza

Thanks for your advice, star17. I have now unchecked the notification. But is this only hiding the problem? I'd still like to correct it. Bazza

script errors are usually at the fault of the site.. not yours.

Thanks Kodo, I had a feeling that might be so, but being paranoid about my PC running right, I wasn't sure. Baz
