We've just installed AT&T/SBC Yahoo DSL internet server. We still have AOL on our computer. Since we installed the DSL software; we have been unable to type any script on AOL. It's working otherwise. We've been unable to access the DSL because we can't type any script to sign up. If I click on "control panel" we get an error:

    Internet explorer script error
an error has occurred in the script on this page.

on top of that error we get this one

    Microsoft internet explorer
an error has occurred in this dialog
    error: 29
    unspecified error

I clicked ok and the control panel window stayed blank.

We clicked START, RUN, Command, ipconfig, and it listed all zero's.

Not sure if this pertains to the problem, but we may need to upgrade our Network adaptor.

    We have windows ME.

Out of curiosity, what version of IE are you running? IE6 sp1?

My wife said the software that came with the DSL package upgraded the internet explorer, but I'm not sure what version it is. How can I find out?

6.0.2800.1106 is what my parents IE version is. They purchased the same DSL we did so it's probably the same we have.
