Hi, I recently changed over to ie 7. When I turned on my computer, my firewall (zonealarm) alerted me that ie had changed, and was trying to access the internet. But, I hadn't clicked on ie. I checked my firewall log, and it said that the source dns was tools.l I actually don't even know what that means. Why was ie trying to access the internet? I don't even use it for my browser, I use mozilla as my default. I just want to know if this is normal or not...

Somehow you slipped by us, I have had this happen to me a few times. Because I use IE I went ahead and let it go thru, I know my PC is clean so I was sure it wasn't anything malicious.

If you don't use IE I would just block it.
