internet explorer windows

    Can anyone tell me why and how to fix a problem with the internet? When it open up the window is only about 5 inches by six inches. How do I maximize the window and still have the tool bar on the top. When I do F11 i loose the tool bar. Thank for any help.

    You get the window the size you wish by grabbing the top, bottom and sides with the mouse and stretching it out. Do this for two windows then close the browser. When you re-open the new window should be the size that you stretched it to.
    F11 is working correctly - it toggles the taskbar off and on so you get more screen real estate. If you don't want to lose the toolbar, don't press it.

    With my IE7 usually after I turn the PC on (from being powered off) and connect to internet, the IE window doesn't remember it's size or position from before. Anyone know how to fix?

    Open IE and only have 1 window open and sized how you wish it to be by dragging the sides of the page, then hold CTRL key down and hit the X on the IE page, then open again and generally it remembers its size.

    may need to disable Tabbed browsing in IE7 ( goto Tools > Internet Options and next to Tabs click settings and untick the top box, restart IE and do the above )

    ok I did what you said and it worked for a while (thanx) but it intermittently does the same thing again. Now I notice it happening after I logout (I kill all IE windows first) and then later log in again (IE always automatically starts when I log in). Sometimes I do a restart or standby and next time I log in it happens (but not always).
