   Pretty much that. IE won't detect a wireless connection, even though both Windows XP and Opera do. Any help?

   Here's a possibility:
   
   Make sure you have checked your connection in;
   Tools > Internet Properties > Connection tab.
   Ensure never dial is selected and then go to LAN Settings and UNcheck everything.
