Internet Explorer

Internet Explorer is not working. I have uninstalled Internet Explorer and reinstalled it, still doesn't work.I have installed Firefox and the internet works fine. when you click the Internet Explorer Icon, it opens up for about 3 sec. then closes. I have ran super antispyware, malwarebytes and combofix. Malwarebytes found one file and deleted it although IE still doesn't work. Any suggestions?

 

I'm wondering how they uninstalled IE without destroying Windows.
Always heard that Windows absolutely HAD to have IE installed.

Well, we don't know exactly what gamat4 meant by "uninstalling" IE. If he had IE8 and uninstalled it via Add or Remove Programs (I'm assuming OS is XP), that would take his computer aback to IE7, not completely remove IE. Trying to completely remove it is asking for trouble.
