Internet Explorer

I keep getting a popup saying "Allow subframes to navigate across different domains?" and I can choose yes or no. No matter which one I pick it keeps popping up. This is VERY annoying. How can I stop this thing from popping up ever 30 seconds??? Thanks in advance guys, appreciate it.

 

I would recommend that you run through the malware removal thread. This will ensure that your system is free from malware. Next, visit the how to protect yourself from malware thread, as this will show you how to set up an excellent, redundant defense for free. I would definitely follow the advice to use Mozilla Firefox. While this doesn't solve the problem with IE, it will eliminate quite a few popups for you.

This popup message is not necessarily an indication of spyware. It's a security setting in Windows. Go to Control Panel, Internet Options, select the Privacy tab, select Internet, click on Custom Level, and scroll down to "Navigate sub-frames across different domains." I haven't experimented with the settings, but I believe changing your settings may stop the annoying behavior.

i had exactly the same thing with yahoo. i would get two messages. one about the subframes, and if i cliked 'no' (which was highlighted) then another one would come up (cant remember what it said) but it was highlighted 'yes' so i would press that. eventually i pressed no to both and it stopped (possibly coincidence). mine only came on at the beginning though.
