Internet not working

i had formated pc and installed all drivers but when windows poped up updates are ready i downloaded it and installed it and after pc restarted my 1394 net adapter's name changed to 1394 net adapter #2 and it was missing so i restored my pc to restore point before update and all was fine so i downloaded driver backup tool and backuped all drivers and i did pc update once again and same problem exist so i restored drivers and still the drivers were missing.
help me why its happening i cant update my pc

Short answer:
Try and reinstall the 1394 net adapter drivers again when it appears as adapter 2. If that works, leave it be.

Long answer:
I am concerned when people say they downloaded this or that because I don't know what or where you got it from and that can cause an issue. Driver backup tools are far and few between as far as free and safe goes.

SlimDrivers can install your drivers for you but backing up your drivers is rarely useful as they are out of dare usually within months so why bother?
