internet pages acting crazy

My computer is loading my two home pages fine which are my email.. Gmail loads up but when I try and open them they blink the mail for a second then back to prior page. Excite page loads but won't load password or go any further. Google search or any search doesn't move and browser address doesn't respond.. I have shut computer down and restarted and it works for a while then freezes on page again.. and won't bring up another Firefox or Explorer browser page. Have run all spyware and virus programs, no problem.. Any help would be appreciated.. Am running Windows 7 on a couple month old dell..Suzanne (Malwarebytes, Avira and iObit Advanced System Care)
