internet problem

Hi everyone. I am not the most computer savy person and hoping maybe someone can help with a problem that popped up for me. I recently gave my mom a laptop I didn't use very much. When it was used by me I could log on the internet and do my basic stuff no problem. Within a day of her using it, the wirless internet has been acting screwy. Every network that shows up on my computer is missing from hers and is actually blank. There is only one network that it connects to and it's one we don't know. Is there any way we can get back on the network that we pay for and fix this laptop

 

Does your mom connect through a router, if so try resetting the router, there is a little hole on the side of the router that you need to stick a pin or something like that into, and that will reset it !

Then try your connections again !
