Internet question

    I am using futuredial software to use my phone to connect to the internet. I keep getting timed out (the connection stops) if I am idle for roughly 3 to 5 mins. There are no setups to adjust. There are no replies from the manufacturer. So. anyone know what I can do? :rolleyes:

    Sounds like your ISP might disconnect people if they're idle too long. IMX, loading a chat program like AIM or MSN generates enough constant web traffic to keep a phone connection alive.

    ISP disconnects

    There's a nifty freeware app called Connection Keeper you can use to prevent that from happening :)
