Interpol/Ukash Malware Infection

    Popular Infection these days...

    I'm running Windows 7

    I cannot get to my windows prompt to execute the sticky READ ME FIRST instructions.

    I've read thru the other posts and have performed an FRST64.exe scan and attached generated FRST.txt file.

    Download this >> View attachment fixlist.txt


    Save fixlist.txt to your flash drive.
    • You should now have both fixlist.txt and FRST64.exe on your flash drive.
    Now reboot back into the System Recovery Options as you did previously.
    Run FRST64 and press the Fix button just once and wait.
    The tool will make a log on the flashdrive (Fixlog.txt).
    Please attach this to your next message. (See how to attach)

    Now boot into normal Windows, attach the above log and then run the Read & RUN ME FIRST.

    Ran FRST64 with fixit.list, which enabled me to access desktop/internet.

    Ran the Read & RUN ME FIRST sequence of utilities with no items found, except the MGtools did not completely finish, it created a sub-folder, but no logs. Rebooted, and confirmed Anti-Virus was temporarily inactive, but no dice.

    successful logs attached.

    Laptop appears to be running fine now, just the MGtools glitch keeps me from being 100% sure it cured...

    Okay then let's try the below. Again, first make sure your antivirus is disable and also that UAC is disabled.

    Now run the C:\MGtools\GetLogs.bat file by double clicking on it (Note: if using Vista or Win7, don't double click, use right click and select Run As Administrator).

    Then attach the below logs:
    • C:\MGlogs.zip
