Think that I will stay with Win 7 as Microsoft is supposed to give critical updates until Jan 2020. I'm way too old to learn new stuff and have severe memory problems. Heck, often I don't even remember routine tasks in Win 7 and have to google the stuff.

I would imagine that I will upgrade. I like new and I like learning new things.

I am very much hoping my Windows 8 phone will also be upgradable.

I have registered to upgrade to Win 10 (currently W7 Home Prem) but i may give it a couple months or so to see if any bugs need ironing out.

Laura has it figured out, either you like learning new things or you don't.
Other than the security aspect XP still does all of what most people want. I will adopt 10 later on as all I need from my OS is to run programs and move files around, the other "features" just get in the way.

Looks at this and for me way too many SKUs, or as I see they wish to split home and SME to one group and then Enterprise, Education to another, ok a good distinctive split, but I would really like to see what you get and dont get in each grouping?

Not see a version comparison chart yet, I also hope the touted free upgrade from Win7, 8.1 is a like for like, if you run Home toy get Home, and if you run Pro you get Pro.
