Keep getting a security alert from Norton Internet security: 'A computer with the ip address 127.0.0.1 that is characteristic of redundant slashes in URI attack.

I've ran MRB check and its clean

any help thanks

Not sure what Norton is trying to tell you with that message. Are you sure that was the exact message or was it the below?

A computer with the IP address 127.0.0.1 sent information that is
characteristic of the URL_Directory_Traversal attack

The IP address of 127.0.0.1 is the localhost address for your own PC.

Are you using a proxy server to do your surfing?

I'm not using a proxy I noticed the message kept coming up when I was loading www.skybet.com and no it was defiantly the message I posted.

Okay then you will have to take that up with Symantec/Norton because that is not even a complete sentence/message. And 127.0.0.1 is your own PC's localhost address so I'm not sure what Norton is trying to tell you.

If you wish, we can check your PC for malware by having you run the below cleaning procedure, but it really does not sound like a malware problem.
