inverted screen

my pc screen decided to invert itself for some strange reason and inow have it upside down to us it any ideas?

 

first basic stats operating system service pack and video card so we all know what were dealing with

second try any of these comands idk if theyll work on your computer

Ctrl+Alt+Down Arrow = Turns screen upside-down.
Ctrl+Alt+Up Arrow = Turns screen rightside-up.
Ctrl+Alt+Right Arrow = Turn screen once, clockwise.
Ctrl+Alt+Left Arrow = Turns screen once, counter-clockwise.

 

If the above key commands work and you have an Intel Extreme Graphics card and you don't want this to happen again, try the following:

1. right click on your desktop
2. choose Properties
3. click on the Settings tab
4. click Advanced
5. click on Intel Extreme Graphics tab
6. click on Graphics Properties
7. click Display Settings
8. uncheck Enable Rotation
9. click Apply

 

apologies for butting in but one of our cats stepped on my husband's open laptop and flipped the screen so everything's upside down. the laptop is a banobo thinkpad with Vista. how do we return the screen to normal?

 

You either do it from your video driver control panel or find the person playing the prank on you. Lots of prank apps can do it. I remember doing it with subseven back in the days (;
