A good friend turned me on to Majorgeeks about 14 years ago. I've always thought you guys were great at helping people resolving their problems and as well helping them protect their computers. I've been testing a lot of software because I plan on buying a new computer. I'm still an XP user I'm familiar with windows 10 though. I dont really like it much. But it is supposedly more secure. I installed Iobit malware fighter on my PC it comes packaged with the advanced system care program as well. We'll here's what I did, I completely disabled the Advanced System Care through services and I still had popups of their gazillion and one updaters popping up in my task manager after disabling the program as good as I could through services. It was ridiculous still trying to function after I disabled it. Malwarebytes, A known good program detected this program as a potentially unwanted program. Ok to go on The Iobit malware fighter itself has a gazillion and one updaters and horseshit executables associated with it that randomly popup in your task manager from time to time as well. It's garbage-ware as well, if not spyware itself. Why does a program have a gazillion and one executables associated with it. Malwarebytes only uses one executable to scan your computer. And you know the funny thing is, I've never had error messages on my PC. But when I ran malwarebytes, and had Iobit protecting, supposedly It just so happened I suddenly have error messages, We'll just say fake error messages pop up on my PC because of something Iobit didn't like me doing to my own PC. Why would you people have garbage-ware on your site? I always thought you were reputable and decent people to help people with their PCs.

Yeah I probably was cussing, I was a tad bit drunk, My bad. I understand that you only host software. Do you even test the software you host though? I was just being honest. Some software is little shoddy, the way it acts. I mean all I did was run malwarebytes and I got an error message saying I had no disk- bla bla bla, Oh yeah like my hard drive disappeared. I mean how dumb does Iobit think I am? I suppose I dont know what a hard disk drive is, huh? And that wasn't the only error message. I was just trying to warn people of how the program performed, I, wasn't blaming MajorGeeks. You didn't make the software. I was going to delete this post, I see no delete option, If you want to delete it, go ahead, and if you want delete my account, you can do that to. I understand that these people that make some of this software want to get paid for it, and some do shoddy things trying to get paid for it. Whatever.

My Malwarebytes folder has 6 application (.exe) and 13 application extensions (.dll). And it has an almost constant 'reminder' to upgrade. Just saying..

Hey, I understand what you're saying. What I didn't like about this particular software was that is that it had all these updaters and whatnot popping up in my taskmanager just randomly. I long since uninstalled the program. I dont have any problems with my PC other than it is a dinosaur. From some of the popups in my task manager, that I can remember was like, like surf protection updater and web publish protection updater, and they would just pop up for a few seconds and disappear, They didn't update anything, you would have seen a spike in the cpu usage. I keep task manager open constantly, especially when I'm testing software. So that to me made me suspicious of the program, because it didn't actually update anything. Most decent programs like Malwarebytes and Superantispyware, have a just a product update and a malware definition update, not crazy sounding updaters just popping up randomly. If they changed that aspect about their software, It might not be so suspicious about it. I've installed lots of different software to protect my machine, this is the only one of its kind that I've seen have random updaters popping up in task manager, just randomly. I'm not trying to be dick towards any of you people. I appreciate that you geeks at Major Geeks host the software in the first place. Thank You.
