Hi sadly those sorts of logs will not show where the issue is, but when you get these errors or crashes do you get any error message on screen at all and if so what does it exactly say?

Are these errors a Blue Screen error?

Had you installed any new software just before the crashes happened and if so what?
If you boot into safe mode (f8 at boot and choose Safe Mode with Networking) does your PC work ok?

Do you have AVG installed as your Antivirus software? if so uninstall and see if your PC works ok without it.

Thanks but I dont believe the problem is with my iobit programs. Their programs have been helping me. I believe something else is going on with my computer. I did sign up with the iobit forums but couldnt post. Am checking to see if I can today.

Thank you so much for your input. Unfortunately when the crashes happened I didn't catch the message. Except a partial as it crashed saying it was crashing. I have had probs with AVG since last crash & now not working was going to re-install but will see how computer works with just taking it off. Will also see how it works in safe mode. Thanks again. Will touch base after trying these things..

Thank you for your help. maybe you can help me more. I went to sevenforums and followed the instructions to enable Superfetch also the prefetch. My settings were at 3 but I still reentered 3 hoping it might reset it. My superfetch is still not working. Do you have any other sugestions. I appreciate any assistance you can give me.

    Greetings, AngelOfMercy...

I see that the Superfetch service is not running. Start > type services.msc > press 'Enter' - the Superfetch service should be running and set for 'Automatic'. See if you can manually start it.

    Good morning...

Is the machine still crashing? If so, did you try the Safe Mode test?

It hasnt crashed in a week or more. I did find several important things that were disabled or stopped in services. I have restarted them and computer is running better although still slower than it should be. I haven't tried safe mode I know how to go into safe mode but am unsure how to get out of it. Its been forever and a day since Ive had to do it.

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you - it's been a busy few days...

To get out of Safe Mode simply restart your computer and let it boot into normal Windows. However, if the machine is not crashing the Safe Mode test is not going to prove much...

As far as the Services go check Black Viper's list of what should and should not be running.
