Hi! I have a Win98 computer at my mother's house, and I sometimes have it networked to a DOS laptop to act as a second hard drive--it has none. I have PalmZip installed on the laptop, but it is unreliable and doesn't always work. Therefore, I have to use the native GUEST driver to gain access to the ZIP drive. Now, it loads a driver in .SYS format, but I can't seem to load the driver high. Unfortunately, it leaves an unusable hole in Conventional memory. I added an entry for it to the config.sys file, but it keeps giving me an error message. :( What can I do to get it to load properly?
