Alright Guys, just a wierd one for ya's. Recetly my cousin bought a laptop and installed broadband onto it through an Ethernet Cable and used it absolutely fine until she realised that both her Laptop and her Broadband Box were capable of Wireless Connections. So, as normal, she un pugged the Ethernet Cable and turned on her Wireless mode allowing to search for the Broadband Box. This was all fine until she tried to connect to the box. the connection status would never go any further than Obtaining IP Address. so i had alook for her and after having a look in the command prompt under ipconfig.... i noticed that under the wireless connection, there is no ip address its just four zero's.... but when the ethernet cable is in... under ipconfig... its all there... how do i get the ip address in the wireless connection under ipconfig..... is it just as simple as ipconfig /renew?....... plz help its a new one for me
