IP address question

I just logged onto trillion after long time not using it. Guy sends me msg saying Hello I said hi who are you. It said your from (blank town)? I said no y? He said your IP is (blank)? from (blank town) I said no(lied). I was wondering if this wanna be can do anything with IP? I havn't clicked anything nor have. He got the right info and its not a prank of a friend. I was just wondering if he was able to do anything to my computer with my IP and town info?
edit-Forgot to mention machine wasn't infected when I did those scans while back for kicks.

 

Well I found out that my friend in real life clicked link to a legit forum. But guess some way on it it can give IP and addresses from clicking links. i was just wondering if there was any way someone could get into my computer or use the IP for something. Not to mention I would had responded little sooner but I thought my thread got deleted in lounge :-D So had to do a search.:wave
