Ip Hiding?

Hey guys

I was wondering if the IP hiding things really work, and if they are any use at all.
I see ads of them once in a while(pop-unders mostly.. ugh...) and was wondering if they are real- if they work and are not just some thing to cause havoc.

Generally they are VPN services, they don't really hide you, they make you look like you're somewhere else. Some of them do keep logs and will turn you over for downloading the wrong things.
The tor / onion networks are free and try to hide you, but there are always stories of 'Governments' running 'exit nodes' to track you. There are VPN services that claim they don't keep logs - don't track you, but do they? Then there is the VPN/DNS leaks, so your VPN may not be secure. Put on your tin foil hat and always assume someone knows what you're doing online.

Your Smart Phone it is tracking you also.

 

This is why i like android and custom rom's.

People think they are safe and secure on there so called smart phones like apple and others but they are really not that safe as it turns out.If you have a windows phone or apple your screwed on safety.You got siri and cortana who is all ways listening to your voice even though they are off.

Software like that can record your voice with out your knowledge.That is one of the reasons why i got rid of the windows 10.

I build a custom Rom for my android phone and i know whats on it.

I know they track anything anytime as they deem fit, no matter what you do. Having a dynamic IP only goes so far,
