Live map/tracking of cyber attacks. This is really cool. :major

 

Yeah we had a discussion about it a month or so back.

They don't tell you it on this map (they do on their site), but those hack attempts are hitting Norse honeypots with sensors that report back.

Still makes an interesting thing to watch though.

 

Yeah, that's in their blog somewhere. This is basically just for data. But it's fun to watch.

 

The little lines shooting back and forth?


Of course they are. Data doesn't move that slowly, and it lags behind the live attacks which are listed in a table below. The colors are also different each time you load it. The Live Attacks table is the same between my browser windows.

This is also heavily taxing the browser, which means things will not run as fast with two vs. one, nor will there be a perfect sync in framerate.
