I log in, launch ITunes to sync songs to the IPOD. Message says "another User is logged in using ITunes, ask them to log off". Other users are logged in, but none of the other Users on the PC use ITunes, and ITunes is not showing in the bottom right hand corner task bar(next to the clock). Logging everyone off solves the problem, but is a pain. Not showing any autolaunch on startup options to uncheck anywhere in ITunes. Any ideas?

iPodService.exe and iTunesHelper.exe are services iTunes starts to help manage your iPod. I believe they run even if you are not using iTunes to monitor for your iPod's connection. That may be your problem with multiple users logged on. It's been a year since I've used iTunes so I'm a little vague on that. I suggest you check at iLounge and iPodWizard.net as they will have more experience with Ipods and iTunes along any problems, tips and tricks that might be of use to you.
