ipods are not being reconized by my computer AT ALL

    ok so my system specs are in my sig. i cant get my pc to reconize my 512MB ipod shuffle (old ones) or my bros 2GB ipod Nano. they wont even show up in mycomputer im not shure what to do i have reinstalled the software and restarted and all that jazz and my pc still doesnt reconize them. even without itunes it should show up under mycomputer as a removeable disk right?
