Is it me or is Gmail not working?

I've been trying to load http://mail.google.com/ for the last half hour and it's not been working.

Anyone else having this problem?

Whoa..wait a minute...just tried your url and it loaded gmail too...must be more than one url for it? I've always used the one I previously posted...needless to say...all my accounts have been working fine all morning.

Aha! So it's not just me then!

It must be something to do with the UK google. It really sucks because all my VoIP settings are in my gmail account, and I can't set my SIP Phone without them!

Handy that I have access to a machine in the states then, eh?

There's more than one URL for it.....gmail.com and mail.google.com


by the way, did Google stop doing the invitations thing?

 

Well, I've got 2.5GB worth of mail space and I'm using 10% of it - I don't think I need to empty it

I'm dissapointed - gmail has been a bit flakey recently. Dunno what's going on.

 

Only problem I've had is apparently all of my friends seem to forget that I too have an email address. I never get anything exciting. Then again I never get much mail at all haha

 

Hmm.... perhaps. But in the past they've managed to add functionality without much of an impact to service. In reality yes it's still in Beta and they're still playing with it, but if you didn't know that it was in beta up until recently you wouldn't be able to tell! There were some pretty bad problems to start with, but there was a very long stretch where it was working perfectly.

What'd be really nice is a "service status" page for gmail. That'd be cool
