Is It Safe To Removes These Files

I have had a problem with the TomTom software on my PC for a TomTom satnav. I have used Revo Uninstaller to remove the TomTom software. Afterwards I checked the list of software Revo Uninstaller says I have; the list of software in Windows>Settings>Apps; file directory to see if there was anything called TomTom in Program Files and Program Files (x86). I didn't find anything. Finally, I ran a search of my hard drive (Drive C) and the search found three files (please see attached screen-print). I would like to know if I can safely delete these files. My next step in attempting to resolve my problem will be reinstalling the TomTom software but I would like all traces of the previous install gone first.

 

If Windows will let you it's probably(?) safe to do it manually but I would suggest letting Windows do it for you with the built in Disk Cleanup utility. How to Clean FileRepository Folder in DriverStore? Messing with the Drivestore is not something I would recommend unless you have a specific purpose like you do.

The Appdata/Local folder should be cleaned with Disk Cleanup as well.

 

Thank you for responding to my request and for your advice. I think the instructions at that link are a little beyond my IT competence. Therefore, I would like to ask if leaving the files I mentioned on my PC would have any impact when I attempt to re-install TomTom software?

 

No they should make no difference.

 

Thank you for replying. I shall once more attempt to arbitrate between my satnav and PC and see if they'll talk to each other.
