I was browsing external storage devices and came across this one from Cavalry. It made me think about those 20 or smaller hard drives I have laying around my house doing absolutely nothing. This device looks fairly simple and I could just plug in a couple of drives without any work and transfer all the information on to one of my tb drives. My question does anyone have one of these and if so how do they perform. I can buy one for about $35. but wanted an opinion before I bought one.

    Hi Bug,

Sounds like a great idea. I too have stacks of drives, but really no need for such a device. I have lots of comps sitting around so I very often whip off a side panel, unplug a CD reader and stick another drive onto the comp for various reasons. The device you speak of would be similar to opening an external case, uplugging the drive and plugging another drive onto the cables. Might be great for many comp users.
