A while back my Norton Anti Virus started giving me pop up warnings that it had blocked an attempted Portscan attack on my computer, of risk level “medium”, by computer 209.197.128.2,53 which I searched and discovered to belong to dns.cyber us.ca, or Cybersurf, which are other names for my ISP : 3WEB. This always happened after logging out of my Hotmail account , which takes you to the MSN.COM page. I stopped logging off, and just closed Internet Explorer instead, and the warnings stopped. Or they did until recently, when I got one just by logging IN to my Hotmail account. Can you enlighten me as to what is going on? Thanks!

    Hi Suffix,
    Welcome to Major Geeks!

In this case, you may need to ask Norton which settings are required to prevent this error. It may be that you need to allow msn into your trusted zone.
