Hi, i,ve had a browser hijack and some other infections, including one called Memory Watcher.

I never used a forum for help removing malware, viruses etc but i'm having trouble cleaning this Memory Watcher and would like to learn more on removing viruses etc.

I've treid various manual attempts and the Memory Watcher uninst.exe but some online scanners keep picking it up.

Could some one help me as i have HiJackThis but don't know how to use it or what i'm looking for and would like to know if i have any other infections.

I've seen post where people submit a HiJackThis log file and recieve instructions on how to remove infections etc, how can i do this, thanks for your help.rolleyes

    Hi rogue212,
    Welcome to Major Geeks!

HijackThis is a useful tool, but we don't consider it complete enough to rely on it by itself. When people want help here or want to see if they might have a malware problem, we ask that they work through the instructions in the READ & RUN ME FIRST and attach the logs which are produced in this process. If you would like for us to check your logs, please do these procedures and attach the logs.

    Thanks.
