is my monitor hdcp compliant?

    lately i've been wanting to upgrade to blu ray and i know my video card is hdcp compliant but i don't know if my monitor is i can't find any information telling me if it is or not it's made by ctl and the model # is 7gx it was made in 2005 if anyone knows if it is hdcp compliant please tell me:cry

    What is the resolution? 1920 x 1080? If so, it should work fine.

    If your video card is connected to monitor via DVI cable, then most likely it is hdcp compliant. If you are using a standard rgb cable, and that is the only connector available on the monitor, then it is definitely not HDCP compliant.

    Nope it's resolution maxxes out at 1280x1024
