Is Symantec Corporate missing something??

I have symantec corporate that is installed on my computer right now. I personally don't like it but I have to have it because we use Cisco Clean access and you cannot get on the network without it. The only problem I have with it is that it seems to be messing a web scanner/guard, something along the lines of avast, avira, nod32 etc. It just keeps failing on me. I accidentally click on a link in google and normally when I was using the other products they would stop my browser and warn me. With symantec corporate it does nothing, I get infected it tries to remove some of the problems but then I have to do numerous scans to get them all out.

That's interesting, I might have to look at that. Thanks

But my real question is why doesn't symantec corporate offer some kind of web scanner? It should offer everything to make the computer as secure as possible but it seems to be lagging behind even free software. If this is this "corporate standard" in antivirus it sucks. No wonder there are so many infected computers out there.

You're welcome, hope it is what you're looking for and useful for you.

I'm not familiar with the corporate version of Symantec so I can't answer your question. Personally, I used Symantec personal version years ago until I found out that free versions work better than Symantec/Norton. Perhaps someone who uses also the same version as yours will have an answer or possibly the Co. itself if you contact them?
