Is Their A Way To Charge People That Abuse Your Internet Connection And Hard Drive Space?

It may seem strange, But this may make them get a job to pay for their own internet connection and hard drive space, Is their such a software and hardware that let's me charge people for abusing my internet connection and hard drive space?

 

How are they doing this?

 

If they are Tapping in through Wifi connection.Then i would suggest Reset the modem and wifi and put a new password on.

And change your wifi name to some thing funny.Like F off or FBI.I have seen people around me do this.The most funnest one i found was Shut your dog up.

You sound like you have a data cap for each month.And every time you go over your data.You are charged even more.

And to answer your question.Most likely no,There is no way to charge them unless you know them personally.

 

Are these people who live in your house and use your computer?

 

I would agree......is this a local issue over LAN or a remote intrusion?

 

Send them an invoice.

 

You can not send them a invoice if you do not know who they are.If some strange person around you,Is using your wifi with out you knowing.This is called stealing and illegal.

As i stated,If the op knows them personally then yes send them an invoice.

Most likely The op has a Data cap like me.Around 250 a month.Which means if they go over this amount per month there ISP charges them an extra 10 dollars or more depending on how much is over.Some times this can go up over 50 dollars an extra a month.

 

Nothing to worry about for the moment, I just wanted to know if their is away to make third party companies to pay for their distructive behavor.

And or the caseworker, She is asking me to tell you these things.
