Seems I bumped into a simple way to determine if an unopened/downloaded email is a bug.. without it damaging the computer's OS...

I saved a suspect suspicious unopened email on the desktop, to work-on trying to figure how to read it without it attacking my PC's OS, if it turned out to be a bug... When I tried to save it to a file, it remained stubbornly on the desktop, same as most software downloads do... When I sent it to trash, a popup warning read "do you want to delete this program?".. Oh Yeah!..

So how I'm seeing it, is the inbox needs be filtered to delete all emails containing programs, before they can be opened, because trojans and viruses are programs, and this one wasn't detected by the BlackIce firewall, nor the Norton AVS.. but the computer's systems caught it on its way to trash... I wonder if in that is a potential to make the PC yet a little safer?..

The impossible scenario would be to somehow determine in advance if a link is dirty or not... It seems having a good AVS, a super firewall, and Spybot, still isn't enough... What else is there, besides pull the plug, and leave it pulled..?
